A Sale of Distinction on Lake Park Dr in Hurst

Silver, sparkle and a whole lot of fun! This Hurst home off Lake Park Dr had a little bit of everything, starting with silver plate on nearly every surface. Highlights included shelves of silver-plated trays, goblets and serving pieces, copper mugs, a wooden tea cart on wagon wheels, a pine china hutch full of glassware, a scalloped milk glass compote on a cherub base, and an entire kitchen island of green-stem crystal stemware. Art lovers found a Paris riverscape of Notre Dame and a floral still life in oils, plus a gilt Chippendale-style mirror and a raised-relief world map. Collectors dug into a big spread of vintage die-cast cars, trays of rhinestone brooches and costume jewelry, golf clubs, a marble-look chess set, a vintage sewing machine in its cabinet, and the Hunt A Killer mystery game series. The sale ran Friday 10am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday noon to 4pm.
