Kiestwood, Oak Cliff, Dallas, TX

Color, character and a whole lot of Mexico! This Oak Cliff home was packed with Mexican folk pottery and folk art, and collectors had plenty to love. Highlights included shelves of hand-painted Mexican stoneware dishes and cups, green glazed pottery bowls and pitchers, a painted sangria pitcher set, a tree of life candelabra, folk art sun and moon wall masks, a carved and painted angel, clay mermaid sculptures, and a Picasso-style hand-painted plate. Boot lovers found rows of cowboy boots in leather and exotic skins, and sewists found a big selection of fabric.

This sale was held in Kiestwood, an established Oak Cliff neighborhood of 1950s and 1960s homes right next to the trails and green space of Kiest Park. It's an easy drive to Bishop Arts, Oak Cliff's best known shopping and dining district.
