Marvelous Mid-Century Time Capsule in Lake Highlands

Quantum leap back to 1956! This Lake Highlands home was designed, built and lived in by an architect, and it was a true mid-century modern time capsule. The house was filled with Heywood-Wakefield furniture in mint condition, complete with original booklets, plus Herman Miller Eames shell chairs, Franciscan Starburst and colorful vintage dinnerware, retro barware and souvenir glasses. Music lovers dug through a 3,000 vinyl record collection that had been organized, researched and priced by experts, along with electric guitars and a Baldwin piano. Collectors also found more than 100 model car kits, HO trains, vintage toys and framed art like a Miles Davis concert poster.
